I've heard a couple of people telling someone or talking about someone saying they look Italian or European, but I have no clue what people mean when they tell someone that they have a European or Italian look.
What is it suppose to look like? Stereotypically speaking, I guess.
How can I achieve that Euro or Italian look?
I have fair/light skin, light brown hair and eyes.
I would a appreciate a pic as a visual of what the Euro or Italian look is suppose to look like.

I'm fluent in Spanish, a university student and I really want to learn Italian. Ideally I would like to be in Italy for at least 3 months. Does anyone know of some sort of program over the summer where I could live there and maybe teach English? Or maybe know of a place where I could find such programs? My university offers study abroad programs but its kind of a hassle. Any information will help.

I think it would be really neat if I could speak with an Italian accent. Do you know of any recordings or movies with people speaking in Italian accents or any ways I learn how to speak in one?

I would like to get Live, Laugh, Love, Believe tattooed in Italian and I'm having trouble finding the correct translation. The above would be as if it was Live well, Laugh often, Love much, Believe in dreams. So far I'm thinking Vivi ~ Ridi ~ Ama ~ Credi is the closest, but am also looking to find if there are any accent marks on any letters to make it truly authentic. I would appreciate anyone's help out there that truly knows Italian. Thanks in advance!

I noticed that my girlfriend wants to learn Italian one day. So would it be smart to buy her something in italian like a dictionary, vocab book, or audio cd? or is too much?
or would it be stupid and weird? I figured that it would make her happy because at least I think of her.

Key Points:
One of my weak points is grammar. Writing and speaking is my strong point. I want to know which language would be best suitable for me according to those key points.
I want to also know your opinions. What do you think is an easier language to learn Italian or Chinese?

I would really like to learn Italian =(
Reason why I am looking for:
1. a computer program or something to put on tv so I can listen and learn about the grammar and such....
2. a forum on the net so I can actually talk to Italian people and practice the language....
Does anybody have a recommendation on which software, book, or tv program I could use, or which websites to visit?...
Thanks! =)

I'm looking into learning italian. I speak a some Spanish and a little Portuguese. I'm in German 201 in college and we have these great books that foreigners who are actually living in Germany use to learn German. They aren't like the usual large textbook, but rather booklets all in German and very thin. Is there anything like that for Italian? Let me know!
