How sincere is the typical Italian male when he says "I love you"?
On my last night of vacation I met this amazing Italian man. We got along really well, and despite him knowing I had to leave the next day and despite the fact that he knew he wouldn't get further than kissing me, he stayed up all night just to talk to me. He also ended up telling me he loved me (in english, I don't know if that's important). Is this something I should consider as part of regular italian flirting, or is the typical male Italian sincere when he says this?

It doesn’t matter what the nationality is, most men who say I love you, will most likely mean it. Most men are sincere when they say I love you. The question is how long will that love last? It might just be a spur of the moment. But to be honest, this is what I think, he told you he loves you because it might increase the chance of you going to bed with him. You know as men, we will do anything to for sex.
dude italian guys are hott.. who cares if he meant it or not as long as you get some with that hott guy..lol i dont kno i think you should as him…
um i dont trust them hun … their macho one hand on their wife and a hand on the mistress

He’s probably just as sincere as any american male when he says it.
Only time will tell.
It sounds like a holiday romance to me. Remember it with pleasure but for your own peace of mind don’t attach too much importance to it. And it isn’t anything particularly Italian. We all do it, I’m ashamed to say.
Not very WOPS SUCK
probably not…. perhaps he wouldn’t have said it if he was sure you were staying…. hmmm
I suppose only you can answer that question
