He has a very strong connection to his Italian heritage so I wanted to put the two together and get "Asleep till you" engraved on the inside in Italian, but I don't know the correct translation. I posted a question earlier today about how to translate the short phrase, "for all days", into Italian. From my own research (I am trying to learn Italian) I thought the translation would be "per tutto giorni". A very kind person responded that the correct translation would be "per tutti i giorni". Just for my own learning, why is the "tutto" changed to "tutti"? Is it because "days" is plural? And what does the "i" in front of "giorni" mean? The phrase will be an inscription on the inside of a wedding band, and so in the interest of engraving space, must there be an "i" in front of "giorni"? Grazie for any responses given!
