I want to learn Italian, but I don't have any money I can spend. How can I learn free?
I want to learn Italian because it interests me more than French or Spanish or one of those languages. Also, though, I would like to learn Latin.

translate all of this please? I don't want normal americans that don't know a lick of Italian to go translate this on babel fish or other online-translators.
Please only answer if YOU know how to speak Italian, per favore.

I'm going to Italy in March for vacation and I want to learn Italian. Because I'm going to italy, I have no money to spend to learn Italian. Any ideas? Or does someone want to give me crash courses over skype. Thanks.
By the way, I am serious about learning Italian, I just don't have any money at the moment.

Hi everybody! I graduate from high school in two years and I'd like to go to study in Italy. But almost all italian universities have programs only in italian language. It's very beautiful language actually, and I'm quite able studying languages, but I really can't spend money on teachers, special courses etc. Do you think it's possible to know the language fluently learning only by myself with a help from the internet, of course, and any other measures without taking classes?

I know the importance of learning another language however my school only teaches spanish and french and latin but latin is a dead language and i have tried and failed at learning spanish and french. The reason behind that i think is because I never had any incentive or ever wanted to learn either. But I really want to learn Italian because my family is still very close to their italian heritage. However all my relatives who know how to talk in italian have passed and I do not have the time to attend formal classes or the money to afford rosetta stone. What are some other cheap ways i can learn the language besides immersion, books and such would help

I would really like to learn Italian but it seems very hard. Is there an easy program I could use? Preferably free seeing as I don't have a lot of money, but I am willing to spend a little money if needed. Can anyone help please? Thanks!

We purchased a pre-owned home that needed a LOT of work -- more work than we imagined, which meant more money than we had figured. We have done much of the work ourselves and the house is being transformed into our home -- which we love. The house has a Mediterranean/Italian style for the most part -- and I thought it would be fun to give our house an Italian name (and get a plaque to put in our entryway with that name on it). I wanted something that reflected the fact that buying the house may have been a mistake in the beginning, but now it is beautiful.
I was thinking something like "Beautiful Folly"
Could an Italian speaker give me the translation for that phrase – or if there is another phrase that would have a similar meaning and/or convey the story that would work/sound better – I'm up for suggestions!
Thanks!

I always wanted to know how to talk Italian but i don't have the money to go buy those CD's. I went on a few websites but i really didn't get because it was for advance Italian speakers. I want something quick and easy. But still i have all the time in the world. Please, please help. I also want to know if it had helped you learn Italian.

Even though the regions of Italy didn't unify until the 1860s, how old is the Italian nation and how did the nation of Italy come into existence? How did the Italian language form and why does it sound a lot like Spanish when French doesn't sound at all like Spanish? What type of money was used in Italy before the lira?
