Take Italian language classes in Italy, where they know how to speak the language properly. Just get a lot of exposure to the language. Make it so you have to learn it to survive!

Rosetta Stone is good for beginners.
Probably Rosetta Stone. It does cost money, but it’s a very, very good program. It has game type things and it allows you to speak the words. It can recognize the words you’re saying and matches it up to see if you said it correctly. I got to use this in my 7th grade Spanish class and LOVED it. It’s really fun.
